time to update

okay sorry I am such a slacker on keeping up on my Blog posts. Here is whats been going on in our Family the last few months.

In October we went to Pumpkin land in vineyard. They have a corn maze, blow up toys, playground animals and other fun things. it is pretty cheap and more for the younger crowd. We also bought our pumpkins there. It was a lot of fun.

We carved our pumpkins Halloween morning we were a little behind this year.

from left to right: Dean's, Em's, Rob's

Every year we go all out on costumes mainly because Rob's work has a big contest. Well this yearwe didn't have time to make costumes, but my Mom lent us some she made last year for her and my Dad. we still ranked the same as other years. Thanks Mom!
(We got honourable mention which is $100 prize)

Brig got Blessed on November 1st. We had alot of family come. It was a nice event.

This is just a cute picture of Brig. I love his left ear the sticks out, I just hope it starts to lay flat before he gets to old. It started out completely folded over.

This is just another cute picture of Brig.

My babies

My little boy Dean will be three on Monday. I can't believe he is already going to be three. Maybe it is because the new baby coming, but I have found myself thinking alot about when Dean was born. I called him my miracle baby. It seemed like every step of the way was a trial. First I couldn't get pregnant, but then with some drugs that happened, then i was really sick the entire pregnancy, then he came five weeks early and was in the NICU for two and a hafe weeks. I'm so thankful that that was the end of the trials. He is so healthy now and growing up so fast. I love him so much and want to wish him a happy third birthday.

The reason I'm taking time today to wish him happy birthday is because I'll be having my baby in the next day or two. I went to the doctor's today and they wanted me to go to the hospital to have my baby because i have mild preclampsia. I asked to wait 24 hours, because I didn't want to miss my grandmothers funeral tomarrow morning. He agreed as long as I stay in bed other than the funeral. So I will be going into the hospital sometime tomarrow after the funeral. I'm very excited, nervous and scared. All the normal feelings of having a baby. I'll post pictures as soon as possible.

It's a...

Okay I will stop holding out. I had an ultrasound about a month ago and the little toad had his foot in the way. We checked again last Wednesday and we are having another boy. Yeah! okay so i cried a little the first day, but I am excited now. we have not decide on a name yet at least not the first name. Dean has made a few suggestions like fruit snack, cookie, but not Lawrence. Apparently he the last name is not to be shared.

We're back from California

Well we survived our long drive to and from San Francisco. Even though on our way home we were stuck in Wells, Nevada for awhile because some psycho threatened the police that he had a bomb in his car and they shut down interstate 80 for four hours. I was just happy that Dean did so well in the car for so long.
We went out there to visit with Rob's family(he is from the bay area, Martinez). We went with a plan this time I didn't want to sit around the entire time. We stayed in a hotel because it was closer to some of the things we wanted to do and Rob and Dean wouldn't do well with My mother in laws cats in the house. I liked it because I didn't feel like I was intruding on anyone's space.
Well the first full day that we were there we went to the Monteray Bay Aquarium. There were alot of things to do and see there It was very kid friendly too. Dean really liked it even though he would run from one thing to the next.

The next day we went to this fun little place called Coyote point. it was sort of a museum/zoo for kids. They have the oldest otter in the nation. He is 21 years old most of them only live to be 10 to 15 years old. Dean had fun with some of the hands on things in the museum.

The next day was Sunday and we went to church with Rob's mom then spent the day at her house. On Monday we went to Muir woods and looked at the redwoods. They are very pretty. Dean had a blast running down the path and getting attention from all the other guest. I saw my fist banana slug. I guess it was strange that I had never seen one before.

On our last day there we went to the beach. you can't visit California with out going to the beach. I was excited because it was the first time it was actually warm at the beach when I have gone out there. Dean didn't like walking in the sand with out his sandals on and didn't like the sand in his sandals. He sat on the edge of the blanket and played in the sand that way. He loved watching the waves too.
