Blogging

So I have become really lazy at blogging ever sense I signed up for facebook over a year ago. I didn't even average one blog a month last year. I am going to set a new goal of blogging a few times a week. okay so maybe it is a little ambitious to expect that much of a change, but I'm going to try. I may take some ideas from some of you out there, so take it as flattery rather than offensive that I am coping you.
I just want to start out today talking about my date I went out on with my hubby last night. We go out on Thursday nights. It started when we were engaged, we both worked retail and it was the easiest night of the week to get our employer to agree on letting us off every week. We have stuck with it because we like the fact we dont have to fight crowds. It works now because Grandma babysits, but we are sure it will be changing in the future.
We went to see Avatar last night, two thumbs up here. I know most of you probably have already seen it, considering it is the top grossing movie ever. I had to go see what the fuss was all about. I knew very little about it before I went, except it had really great special effects, and if I get motion sick(which I do) not to watch it in 3D. So we went to the non-3D version. The story was really good, it frustrated me because I just wanted to yell at the people on the screen, "Didn't you learn anything from American history? Just because people are different then you doesn't mean they are not people!" If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about. Anyway it is really good so if you haven't seen it I suggest you do.

It's a new year!

I love new years it is so refreshing you never know what it going to happen. you can start fresh, I know you can do that any time, but the new year is a good time sit and reflect on what has happen the past year and set new goals the next year. I am a big new years resolution type of person and I love to look at the one's from the year before to see all that I have accomplished. Now this last year I didn't accomplish everything, but I also didn't expect to find out I was pregnant 7 days into the year.
I am excited for this new year, my number one goal is the same as most of the nation out there it is to lose weight I set the goal two years ago and lost 50lbs and I know I can do it again. I hope to do even better than that sense it took me a few months to figure out how to do it last time.
I want all my pregnancy weight off by the first of June. It took me nine months to put it on I am going to allow myself nine months to take it off. that will take me down to 190lbs, the same as when I was in high school, I know it is still alot, but I was never skinny in high school, my ultimate goal is to be around 150lbs. I would love to be at that weight by my 10 year high school reunion this year, but I don't think that is realistic. It would be cool seeing everyone faces walking into the reunion thinner than any of them have ever seen me. Oh well what matters is that I get there and stay there and be healthy.

time to update

okay sorry I am such a slacker on keeping up on my Blog posts. Here is whats been going on in our Family the last few months.

In October we went to Pumpkin land in vineyard. They have a corn maze, blow up toys, playground animals and other fun things. it is pretty cheap and more for the younger crowd. We also bought our pumpkins there. It was a lot of fun.

We carved our pumpkins Halloween morning we were a little behind this year.

from left to right: Dean's, Em's, Rob's

Every year we go all out on costumes mainly because Rob's work has a big contest. Well this yearwe didn't have time to make costumes, but my Mom lent us some she made last year for her and my Dad. we still ranked the same as other years. Thanks Mom!
(We got honourable mention which is $100 prize)

Brig got Blessed on November 1st. We had alot of family come. It was a nice event.

This is just a cute picture of Brig. I love his left ear the sticks out, I just hope it starts to lay flat before he gets to old. It started out completely folded over.

This is just another cute picture of Brig.
